How BidBoard works
One job, one scope, sealed bids from local pros, and one winner. Nobody in the middle.
If you have work to put out
- Post the job. Describe the scope, where it is, and the date bids are due. Add a budget, a start window, a site walk, and what you require of bidders — licensed, insured, bonded — if they matter to you.
- Bids come in sealed. Each pro sends a price, a timeline, and what the price covers. Only you see the bids, side by side, lowest first. We email you as each one arrives.
- Pick one. Award the job to the bid you want. The winner gets your contact and you get theirs. Every other bidder is told plainly they weren't selected. Plans changed? Close the job without awarding it.
Hiring for your own home instead? HireAPro.direct is where homeowners find a pro.
If you do the work
- Find work near you. The board opens on your area. Change the town or the distance any time.
- Bid. Read the scope and send your price, your timeline, your earliest start, and what's included. You can revise your bid until bids are due.
- Win it. If you're picked, you get the poster's contact by email. If not, you hear that too — no waiting on silence.
Nothing posted near you yet? Tell us what work you want on the board and we'll email you the moment a job like it posts.
What it costs
Posting a job is free. Bidding is free. We take no commission on the work.
Good to know
BidBoard connects the two sides — we aren't a party to the contract. Check licenses and insurance, get the agreement in writing, and pay against work done.
